Sensing the Living:
Exploring Movement in Nature
An Outdoor Workshop in the Wissahickon Woods
Lead by Jenny Sawyer
Saturday Sept. 25, 2010
11:30am – 1:30pm
Valley Green Entrance to the Wissahickon
Come experience a deep internal connection to yourself and your body as an innate part of the natural world. We will deepen our sensory awareness by engaging the complexity and beauty of nature through touch, sound, sight, and smell. We will develop our ability to follow internal impulses, and we will enjoy moving our physical bodies in new and inspired ways. Soak in this beautiful fall weather by moving and sensing joyfully with others!
Meet at the Valley Green entrance to the Wissahickon woods at 11:30am.
Wear sturdy footwear and clothes you won’t mind getting dirty.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend, so I know to look for you at the park entrance. Also please contact me if you need directions, need help finding a ride or have any other questions.
